I know they're not related at all but that's the problem. I've been taking Spanish since 7th grade and taking Spanish 5 next year would show consistency. However, at my school the Economics class learns both macroµ econ and so it counts for 2 AP credits. I'm going to major in the sciences so both would be helpful-Spanish for communicating with patients&peers and econ for actually knowing how to deal with my finances instead of relying on someone else. Final schedules are due soon so help is needed sooner rather than later please!!

From my experiences, econ won’t really help you with personal finances too much. I’d go with Spanish.

But do what you want, not what shows consistency, not what will garner you more AP credits. They’re both good classes, so don’t worry about which one looks better.

If there is one thing I regret, is that I didnt take Spanish 1-3 seriously from 8th-10th grade. All I did was do enough to make 'A’s. Take AP Spanish and try to master it.

Definitely Spanish. It shows consistency and dedication.
