AP Macroecon credit counts as prerequisite credit?

<p>Hi I am a sophomore international transfer applying from out-of-state (Umiami, business school, undeclared) with 3.74GPA to UCI,UCSB,UCSD,UCLA. First choice is econ. I've completed Micro econ in college, and just wondering whether my high school AP Macro credit (i scored 4) still counts toward Macroeconomics prerequisite for UCs or not. Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>4 on AP macroeconomics at each campus, based on campus web sites:</p>

<p>UCLA: Economics 2
UCSB: general education only
UCSD: elective or breadth credit only (need a 5 for Economics 3)
UCI: Economics 20B</p>

<p>In the UCLA and UCI cases, you can check the degree requirements for the economics major to see if the named courses are the ones you need.</p>
