UC transfer requirement dilemma

So coming into my 2nd semester of my sophomore year, I am in huge dilemma. I don't think I can finish all the prerequisites to become a economics major at UCLA, UCB, UCSD and UCI. I will be finishing 2 semesters of English Composition, 2 semesters of both Calc 1 and 2, and 1 Semester of both macro and micro econ. The only thing I cannot finish is the statistics requirement. Will the UC's reject my application even though I have an upcoming cumulative GPA of 3.78-3.87?

Also does the UC's count Applied Calculus for Business 1 and 2 as substitutions for the calculus requirements?

Well you’ve applied anyway. If you’re rejected from everywhere, apply next Fall. A lot of us are transfering this Fall after we’ve spent 3, not 2 years in CCC. So don’t stress it. Good luck though.

I’m an econ major as well. I thought the stats requirement for at least UCLA/UCB/UCSD is to be taken in that school once transferred there?

UCB site:
“At least one math or stat prerequisite course must be taken at UC Berkeley. For transfer students, this is typically the statistics course. The prerequisite intermediate theory course must be taken at UC Berkeley.”

You’re scaring me because I did not think I’d need to take stats as my prereq?

my friend got accepted to ucsd and uci with around 3.5gpa. she didnt finish most of her prereqs. i think just one or two. there was hella on the assist website lol

Use [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) to find if your courses are accepted.

Most community colleges do not have a statistics course that is accepted for Berkeley economics, so they expect transfer students to take it in the first semester after transfer (along with an intermediate micro or macro economics course), so that they can apply to declare the major that semester.

Note that if you want to go to graduate school in economics, it is recommended that you take the multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations courses for math majors, so that you can take the more math intensive intermediate micro and macro economics courses.

I’m an intercampus transfer. So is it required of me to take stats prior to transfer? Because my class schedule for the yr is pretty packed and I’ve always thought that stats is to be taken in UCB once in.
