***AP Macroeconomics & AP Microeconomics Thread 2015-2016***

@APScholar18 I found that question so stupid. If you think about it, A, C, and D make no sense, but both B and E could be right. E may be correct, but he ALSO increased his demand in response to the price change. Unless the trick is that they used “demand” instead of “quantity demanded”?

Are we supposed to use the midpoint formula for elasticity? HELP

@neptuna @APScholar18 It’s definitely a difficult question, but it makes sense. If something’s unit elastic, then total revenue doesn’t change. That’s because if the price for the good goes down, he’ll buy more --both at equal percentages (ie price goes down 5%, he’ll buy 5% more)-- keeping his expenditures the same. His expenditures can be translated into TR for the firm, so it’s unit elastic. As for “demand” vs “quantity demanded,” the distinction between the two is important here, so it can’t be B.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Try your best. If you don’t, the opportunity cost could be quite high. :wink:

I feel a bit more confident after my cram session. I might get a solid 3 now, lol. We’ll see!

The curves vary based upon test form, although I suspect they are still relatively close.

Got a 24/24 on the college board questions lol. I think I’m set for this exam

is international ap exam different from our ap exam?

@sonia1216 yep

E A S Y

It was so easy:)

completely screwed up the last frq (3-4 points off) but doubt i got anything wrong on the first two and no more than 8-10 wrong on the MC so I think that should be enough for a 5.

Can we discuss the macro frq yet?

It was pretty easy. Screwed up one question but pretty easy for the most part

The MC was so easy, but I died on the FRQs. I’m just ecstatic that I probably passed. I don’t even care about getting a 4 or 5.

MC was pretty easy, some of the FRQs were a little hard

I didn’t think the MC was that easy but I probably didn’t miss more than 10. FRQ was a total joke.

Just as a general question, do you guys know if monocomp has economies of scale in the long run?
