AP Physics B discussion

it is graded out of 180, but the scores are multiplied from each section to get 2 90's.

I thought the whole thing was pretty easy, but I have an amazing teacher. Not only did we cover everything, but we covered a lot of extra stuff (rotation, relativity, etc.) and had about a month of review time.

MC was good, FRQ was murder

I thought it was quite ok. The M/c was incredibly easy (IMO) and the free response, I did all of them. Got a crazy answer for one because i did something like forgetting to change cm to m. But, in all, it was fair i thought. Not entirely as bad as I was expecting. Im sure i made other stupid errors like not being able to add/subtract. But, in all, I didn't think it was overly out of nowhere. 7 was one of the easiest questions though! 4 took me the longest time but I figured it out later.

The time limit was scary. I had only finished 2 questions when we were told only 1 hour left. I wish there was no time limits. I could have done really well without one

someone call me when discussion start =)

Jagged, you can use it on the first part. The test, though, was not that hard.

i think multiple choice was really tricky.. free response was ez pz; the wording was a bit obscure but that was it :P

i think the whole test was really easy compared to other tests (Look at 99FRQ and u ll see wat i mean)...

We've said it several times in several threads but in case you aren't clear....

There will be NO discussion of MC questions at all, and NO discussing of FR questions until at least 48 hours after the exam. You read the rules, and we expect you to follow them.

Anyone discussing questions will have their posting privileges suspended.

Moderator Amistad

so much for a friendship (amistad) eh? lol

I don't think I have seen any specific question discussed anyway

As for the AP test... where the **** did they come up with those

FR questions...... impossible...

junelay, posts containing details about specific questions have been edited out.

Moderator Amistad

Thank you Amistad =)

I actually thought the FRQ's weren't that hard.

if i got three of the frq completely wrong what would be my percentage in the frq's? I'm pretty sure i got the other ones right.

Depends on which ones they were. That could be anywhere from a 50% to a 62.5%.

wait i didnt take the ap physics (b) exam because i had a bad cold,,, so does that mean i can take a make up? Can any one please tell me how this works?

the MC was EASY, then the FR was like huh? But then # 7 was pretty easy once you figure out their stupid "trick" :D

anybody know where to find the free response answers? I found them for calculus yesterday on a google search

number 7 was so easy… it was just photoelectric effect… the multiple was really hard to solve fast… I could not finish it and I had to pretty much guess the last 5 … anyways… does anyone know what a 5 is ?
