Ap physics b?

Hey, I'm planning on taking the AP physics exam in the near future. Unfortuntly, our school does not offer that class so ill have to self-study. i know there is physics b and c.

I plan to go into medicine so i should study physics b right?

Also, so far i have only taken algebra classes. Is calculus or trig needed before i study ap physics b?

What textbook should be used? Review book? other materials?

Would studying physics b get me prepared for the sat physics subject test?

I appreciate all the help. Thanks!

For medical school, I doubt you’ll need calculus-based physics, so Physics B is a good choice.

For Physics B, no calculus is needed but basic trig is required.

The AP Physics B MC is almost identical to the SAT II Physics test (I’ve taken both).
