Everything was straightforward except for the last frq
That was Something Else.
If you do well on everything else, can you blow an FRQ and still earn a 5?
I think it’s absolutely possible. You only need a 55% to get a 5.
If you don’t mind me asking, which topic is the last frq on?
The last frq was a reincarnate of Satan, I’m sure of it.
@LowkeyWhaleShark It was “that one frq on every test about spinning objects”
I thought the e&m frq was way easier than the mechanics one. The mechanics handed my ego to me on a platter. Do you guys think the curve will be more generous this year?
I actually had time left over on the MCQ, it’s just that the frq for some reason made me feel like I was Jason Todd being beaten with a crow bar
Wow guys, thank you for these beautiful and relatable analogies. I’m majoring in physics next year, and that third frq took any form of pride I had in my physics abilities and burned it in a seething container of hydrochloric acid. Just hoping that I killed the multiple choice and the other two frqs.
I needed like 2 more min on MC. First 2 frq were fine. #3 was very tough
Hands down the most self-confidence razing, panic-inducing, worst test I have ever taken. Not because I don’t think I did well, or because I couldn’t do the questions, or because I messed up in some major way. No, I hated this test because with every single question at which I could only stare hopelessly, I knew that if CollegeBoard has just froze time, opened the windows, and let me chew on my pencil for just FIVE more MINUTES, I could have figured it out. But, instead, they shooed me along, dragged me past my potential physics epiphanies, and left me to hastily “skip a few steps” in my completely incorrect line integral to get the “correct answer”.
That being said, it could have been a whole lot worse, particularly in the E&M. Mechanics wasn’t great, wasn’t “cry between the two exams” horrible. So long, physics. Well, until the SAT.
I disagree. mechanics was cry between the two exams horrible
E&m wasn’t awful though
I only took mechanics. For those like me, did anyone else’s proctor not give a break? I was really expecting and needing one after the MC, and suddenly she’s like “ok open the FRQ shrink wrap”. Like, what? Cmon now.
Is it procedure to not give a break if it’s a shorter exam?
@alphabetatrig no break here also.
The 3rd frq was awful on mechanics. 1 and 2 weren’t bad. Mc was super easy though.
@alphabetatrig My proctors told me that the college board told them not to give breaks between frqs and mc.
@bobthebuilder13 wow that’s pretty lame. MC wasn’t that hard but my mind was still tired. A break would have been great imo. smh collegeboard.
Yeah, I was expecting a break too. Oh well, it’s over now. Hopefully, we all did well.
LOL MECH FRQ #3 though…
My heads still hurting from that crowbar beating I took
