Has anyone ever taken the late test for Physics C Mechanics? How's the difficulty of that late test?
I took Physics B during the regular testing and I had to do Physics C Mechanics late because of the overlap.

Well, you’ll probably do better than us because most of us got screwed out of some points by FRQ #2 on the first mechanics test.

Same, I’m interested as well.

Is it the same curve?

^Hmm…I think they are different.

Did you use a second derivate as your differential equation for number two?

I just hope that we don’t get something like the second free response question on the late test. Hey, someone who took Calculus and Chemistry late thought the late test was easier (FRQs), I hope Physics goes OK.

Augh. Having just taken both the physics late tests, I would say mechanics was a piece of cake, and E&M was beyond what I knew (but I also taught myself both and wasn’t really sure what to cover). I felt so confident as E&M was starting too… Anyone else have a similar experience?

I laughed when I saw the first FRQ for mechanics.

For the E&M, yes it started out well but towards the end of the multiple choice it got harder. And the free response had good problems but was overall harder than the PR practice tests I took (are they generally easier than the real thing?).

I’m sorry this isn’t about mechanics

I took Mechanics and I thought it was pretty easy, my estimated percentage would be like a mid 80% on that test because a few questions on the FRQ were kind of weird. What do you guys think the curve would be? Would 60% be a 5 just like all the previous exams in the other years? Would the curve change dramatically to like 80% or 75%?

Phew, I’m glad that I’m not the only one who thought the second question of Mech was a killer. Practically left the question blank.

i laughed at the late test frqs. i looked online and i totally couldnt do #2 on the regular test omg. im glad i took the late test -_- haha.
