Is there any link of the GW site that provides some form of table for AP Credit info? Like, which courses provide credit, how much credit, what score is required to earn said credit, etc etc. I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to take one or two of my AP exams this year, as I would have to dedicate far more time than I am willing for even the chance at a 4 or 5. If GW offers lucrative credit hours for certain scores, however, I might be convinced. Perhaps I am overlooking the obvious, but I can't seem to find this info on the gwu site.

Please and thank you for any and every response!

On the site, search for “advanced placement credit” it differs from course to course. Its worth pursuing- they are pretty generous, and it will give you more time for an internship.

They seem to have a limit on how many credits you can get via exam (AP, IB, CLEP, etc). I think it was 24 credits?

Definitely check carefully. Some depts only give credit for a 5.

Thank you very much! After some serious deliberation, I realize that though I would receive generous credit for taking my exams, my projected program of study does not require them at all (they can’t even fill electives!) Maybe that’s just the way the School of Business is, but I know that taking English and APUSH would do nothing for me - I will already have the needed elective credit.
