AP Prep books for really cheap (new books for about $6)

I just joined this forum today and would like to share this info. I haven't really seen exam prep books for cheap anywhere (They retail for around $20ish)

Well, for the past 2 years I've been using buy.com

Steps:

Go to Buy.com - Computers, Electronics, Digital Cameras, Books, DVDs, Music, Games, Software, Toys, Sports and look for any exam prep book you want (they even have the new editions if you can wait for'em)

Example: Princeton AP Bio 2008

Buy.com - Cracking the AP Biology Exam : ISBN 9780375766404

Price + shipping = $15.88 - $10 google checkout = $5.88

Princeton AP Government 2008

Buy.com - Cracking the AP U.S. Government & Politics Exam : ISBN 9780375428500

Price + shipping = 15.88 - $10 google checkout = 5.89

They even have Barron's

Example:

Barron's AP Environmental Science

Buy.com - AP Environmental Science : Gary S. Thorpe : ISBN 9780764136436

Price + shipping = $14.17 - $10 google checkout = $4.17

Google checkout is just another way of paying through buy.com, but to promote this, google is offering $10 off any item $10 or more (hence, the exam prep books)

Your only supposed to use this method once, but I've used it a couple of times using different credit cards...

Let me know if you guys have any questions :)

20 views and not a single reply :(

You have to use different credit cards? I own no credit cards, only a debit card. Credit cards are bad business if you ask me. (Off topic, but anyway.)

Well, I suppose that is a good deal that the Google Checkout offers. They tried to offer it to me when I purchased my AP Human Geography (Barrons) Book from there.

I think it's great!!! My question is did you have to register under a different name each time? Like one for you, and then family members.

someone should have told me about this a few days sooner....

here's a bump to you... much appreciation! (although I bought my books a while ago, xD)

Thanks for the information. Our family buys a lot of books.

Bump for you =)

Do you know if this is a limited time offer, because, well, I have stuff I need to buy, just not at the moment. So should I just get something now or do you think it's safe to wait a while?

bump .

bump!
.

apparently promotion has ended
