Last year i took 4 AP's and spent over 130 dollars at my local B&N on 4 review books. One of these not even being the latest edition. Anyone know a good website where i can get review books for cheaper, it doesn't really matter the type or year as long as its consistent with the format and clean of any markup. Ive already tried students who had the classses last year, most of their books are marked up, and i dont know if i trust so much amazon or some of these other marketplaces. Thank you!

That’s quite a lot of money!

Personally, I like using eBay and Amazon. I bought two review books on eBay for about a total of $5 and another review book for a total of $4.

I made sure to read the descriptions before I bought them and they arrived in great condition with no markings. I can completely understand why you wouldn’t trust eBay. However, Amazon’s a pretty decent site and I’ve found it to be quite reliable. You should definitely check it out. If you are feeling wary about the seller check out their reviews. It should tell you how good their customer service is.

If you feel like trying out different sites check out bookfinder.com

Just type in the title of the book you’re looking for or the isbn number if you can find it. Then it’ll give you a list of various different online book shops where you can buy it. You can pick from new or used and it’ll provide information on how much each different site wants to charge you for the book.

Note that public libraries also pack a whole ton of useful review books. Just give it a shot, it won’t hurt to try. Save that $$.

Yeah I usually use Amazon or buy at B&N’s website (both have prices within 50 cents-1 dollar of each other, with B&N ultimately coming out cheaper if you use coupons). Although the library suggestion works as well, especially for AP guides you don’t intend on doing any serious long term prep with or guides you’re using just for practice tests.
