I'm self-studying AP Psychology this year, and I want to know what advice does anyone have pertaining to self studying this particular course. I've already bought Barron's AP Psychology, but what else should I get to study for the exam? Any online resources? What is the exam like, one of the toughest or one of the easiest? Also, what topics should I concentrate on the most? What score do I need to receive in order to get a 5?

it's so easy... It's mostly common sense mixed with vocabulary. I'd recommend that you get used to the neuroscience part (just remember the hormones and neurotransmitters if you haven't taken bio yet, and go over how humans respond to stimuli.. etc) and also go over the important studies.

I don't know... I know I might just not have paid enough attention in class (even though I got an A), but I took a one semester class in school and only got a 4 on the test. I got 5's on AP Bio, AP Lang, and AP U.S History and a 4 in AP Calc, so you'd think I'd do better on Psych, but so much for that. Probably stick with your practice tests and maybe try to get a Psychology textbook to review.

1) Don't put off studying. I put off studying till the day of the exam. (Got a 4.)
2) Barron's should prepare you -- you don't even need outside sources. On the morning of the exam, I woke up early and read the Barron's book back to front ('cept I skipped a few sections). Hadn't learned any of the material prior to that. But this was a horrible way to do it, and I didn't really get to enjoy learning the material. So try to stick to a study schedule.

Go to the psychology section on the Ultimate List of AP websites and click on it. There are a ton of websites that I used and found last year before I took the exam. I got a 5 by using Barron's and these websites.
