I'm looking to take the AP Psychology exam with no previous knowledge of psychology. I'm great at memorizing and understanding information quickly and efficiently, but I'm wondering if I need a textbook as source material. Would and AP review book (Barrons??) be enough to score a 5?

I heard and you can find out yourself, that AP Psychology is among the easiest AP exams because the test actually covers very little in the field of Psychology. A week of memorizing will get you a 5. (I’m not self-studying it)

Some people have said that they only used a review book and gotten a 5. I can’t tell you my personal experiences with this because I took the actual class and had a textbook. Honestly, if you plan to self study I would start now and read bit every day (you’ll remember better, you’ll find out in the psychology book that it’s called the spacing effect). I’ve heard of people starting to study a month before the test to the day before the test (!) and still doing well but those are not normal people.

I read them once over spring break and then again repeatedly a week before. Make sure you look at FRQ answers on AP central, all answers have to be in context for points

Please give me any advice, especiially for the essays! I am self studying it and I’m ready to put in the work but where, how and with what do I start. I have reviews numerous threads and sites please, I. BEG. yOU! Help me, God bleed u and good luck everyone else! Ap eng Lang & comp
