AP Psychology Self Study

Looking to Self Study AP Psych my senior year, any advice/suggestions on getting a 5 this way? (No space to take it in the schedule)

I am doing the same throught i am junior,if u want a textbook Just Read Myers 7th edition (u can get it for like 40 bucks of ebay) and cram barrons a week or 2 before the test and you should be fine :) (or at least thats what i am gonna try...)

I always feel like I am pimping out Barron's for psychology, but it really is the best. That + a textbook = 5. Good luck.

I second Xylem101, I used Myers & Barrons this year (sophomore) and got a 5.

Does the myers have to be the latest edition or could I do just as well with a copy that's maybe one edition old that I ebay'd? I don't feel like paying full price for it.

Thanks for all the advice!

AP psychology is often considered one of the easier AP tests. I think this is largely because people find it, as opposed to chemistry or language, genuinely interesting. All you really need is a textbook and maybe a review book and you will be set.

Yeah... it and stats are the two ap courses at my school pretty much anybody at my school can take and do well in.

Thanks for all the encouragement!

You guys don't really need a textbook, I would suggest just buying Barron's Psychology, and the AP Success book and u will be fine!
It's interesting and not that hard, but if u want a textbook, go ahead

Hi, Xylem101

I found your post on May....
As I searched Internet to check the book for psychology self-study, there are so many books written by Myers.
What book should I buy for AP test preparation?

Thanks.

i used barrons for self study one week prior to test and got a 5 ... hope it helps

I used Myers in my community college class, excellent book. I found it for $8 on amazon.

I have the Myer's older edition and there isn't much updated information, if you want to buy it, check out amazon, it's quit cheap if you buy the older edition.

I'm doing the same thing, using Barron's and maybe something else. Since I haven't taken the test yet, I can't really say, but it's easy to follow and seems helpful.
Good luck!
