AP Psych is easy, but not that easy. Maybe two hours the night before :P
For those of us that aren't machines developed to ace standardized tests, I would say that a month of semi-serious studying would be enough. If you had a 3 days to do nothing other than study, you would be fine.

Who want to give me their AIM screenname so sometime we can quiz each other about AP Psychology online?!

I don't have AIM, but I do have msn...

maybe we should just ask questions on here...any inconsistencies you see in your book, misunderstandings about certain topics, clarifications.

Are we allowed to do that?

Well, I think it's better to have an online chat just because we can get answers in real time then just waiting for someone to post an answer for our question!

good point. But since the test isnt for a few months...it will allow for a gradual study. Im on here at least once a day...so it could be a "Question of the Day" type thing...which will at least force me to study a bit

Okay, well I'm kinda confused about exactly what Bottom-Up Processing is. I understand Top-Down Processing, though... I would appreciate any help!

Nevermind, I understand it now. I was studying for 3 hours straight, and I guess my mind couldn't take anymore info...

I will start studying after Term 2 for my high school is over which is next Friday!

What's the difference between the Subconcious mind and the Unconcious mind? They both sound really similar..

I don't know yet, just use wikipedia to see if it would help!

I think that the subconscious mind is active, but the person is unaware of it being there, while the unconscious mind is dormant. You know?

I never took AP Psych in high school, but I did take Psych 101 last semester and I'm currently taking cognitive psychology this semester. If you guys need any further explanation of anything...PM me and I will give you my screename or just answer your question.

I just ordered Barron's from Amazon. I'll definitely have enough time to study for it. My only other exams I'm going to take are AP US Govt., which is ridiculously easy, and APUSH, which also isn't too hard.

So two months should be enough time?

Definitely. It's not hard, at all. If you have any experience with AP exams, you would probably be able to do this one blind-folded. Good luck!

I still dont know if i should take it or not...
