AP Psychology

Hey guys, i'm thinking about taking AP Psychology next year (if juniors are allowed to) and i was just wondering if it counts as history credit or science credit. Some people are telling me its history credit, while others are saying its science credit, although, i'm not sure how it could count for history. It'd be great if some of you could clear this up for me. Thanks!

Depends on the college.

I would think as a social science credit but I’m really not sure.

college? you mean high school? yeah…i’m not sure either, lol. this is so confusing

I’m taking it next year (senior year)

It didn’t count for either for my high school.

I think I did too. IDK how I got colleges lol.
Oh, and I checked and AP Psych, at my high school, doesn’t count for anything (besides the credit).

I think it counts as a history credit at my school…weird

It counts as history at my school

It would be a social studies credit… history is a PART of social studies…

In my school, it’s classified as a social studies/history class

^this.
But it’s just classified there. We don’t get an actual credit toward graduation requirements.

It does get us a solid credit, though, because it’s social studies, but that’s probably irrelevant to your school.
