AP scholar award - does it mean anything?

Hi, I'm a homeschooling junior that's looking into self-studying some APs this spring for the exams. I definitely am going to do AP bio, and I'm trying to decide whether or not to do one or two more.

My question is: does the AP scholar award mean anything at all, such that I should try to take three exams? Would it be worth it to tack on something like Env. Science mostly to fill a quota of three? Or should I just disregard the award and not worry about taking three if it doesn't make sense?

Considering it only requires three 3s I was wondering if it adds anything to apps or not. At this point, taking more than three exams (and thus getting a higher award) is not a feasible option.

Thanks a lot.

Three AP exams would look great on your college apps. The AP scholar awards just kind of restated your success, since you self report your AP grades on CommonApp anyways. But I would say take the AP exam and do well on them.
