AP Scholar?

AP Scholar...
AP Scholar with Honor...
AP Scholar with Distinction, how common is it?

I'm talking about students who have reached their Senior Year. Not those who have completed their senior year, yet. So this would be APs primarily based only on Junior year, and possibly Sophomore year.

bumppppppp

Here's a link to the 2007 data.

<a href="http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/repository/2007_AP_Scholar_Counts.xls%5B/url%5D">http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/repository/2007_AP_Scholar_Counts.xls</a></p>

It looks like the number of 11th graders earning the awards last year was:

704 - National AP Scholar
45,300 - AP Scholar
12,028 - AP Scholar with Honor
17,916 - AP Scholar with Distinction

okay, thanks.

does anyone know if ap scholar with distinction really stands out then?
should i even put it on my app for the top colleges?
or does everyone get "with distinction"?

Why wouldn't you list it?

the number of awards you can place are limited. that's why.

I just realized that I qualify for AP scholar with distinction. I was never notified of it though.

i just received my notification in the mail yesterday.
