AP sciences for econ major?

I plan on majoring in economics in college, would it be beneficial at all to take AP sciences?

The benefits are that you will show colleges you are applying to that you are taking a strong schedule and can handle the work. Senior year schedules are a factor in college admission. In addition if you do well on the AP test you may waive out of a science requirement in college. But if you don’t think you can do well in the class or you think it will eat up so much time and take away from your ability to do well in other classes then it may not be worth doing. You have to assess the risk/reward of taking this (or any) high level class.
