Hi… I just applied EA to Harvard College and I just realized that I may not have sent my official college board scores to Harvard College yet. The deadline has passed. Am I screwed or should I rush order them and it’ll all be okay?
Just a note… I did indicate my scores on the common app. I thought that that is all you have to do for admissions purposes because of this thread. Please lmk. Thanks.

Hopefully Gibby is here to save the day xD
Take a deep breath. Inhale. Exhale. Breathe. Everything is fine!
Self-reporting AP scores on the Common Application is allowed by ALL colleges, as The College Board sends an “Official AP Score Report” to a college’s Registrar’s office so your AP scores can be added to your file when you matriculate. Even if a prospective student pays for an “Official AP Score Report” to be sent to Admissions, it will not be delivered to Admissions, as the Registrar’s Office does NOT forward that information on to an Admissions office.
The College Board is a for profit company and does not disclose this information to teenagers applying for college as they make a bundle of money off of nervous students who think sending an “Official AP Score Report” gives them a leg up in the admissions process. It doesn’t.
Students only need to send an “Official ACT Score Report” or “Official SAT Score Report” to Admissions Offices.
Thanks Gibby!
