Do AP test scores affect admissions at NYU? What about for Stern specifically?

bump !

It is your choice to send them. If they are not good scores, you do not have to send them.

D never sent them to any school she applied to. No one asked, and she was accepted at Barnard, Brandeis, NYU, American, Muhlenberg. She had a 2 in Physics and did not see the point of advertising that!

instead of submitting 2 subject tests, i actually submitted 1, i got a 670 on chemistry, and then submitted my AP scores, although i managed a 2 on AP Chem…and my others were 4’s…so I guess having ONE poor grade isn’t really a big deal because I was accepted :)

I never took subject tests (the other schools I applied to were music conservatories and they aren’t required there), so I sent the 3 AP exam scores instead (all 4s, in US History, Psych, and English Lit). Not sure if they are more important for Stern, but I got into Steinhardt!
