Yeah, so I registered for the 2nd FEE, which is going on right now. I don't want to go through it if I happen to score a 5 on English Lit. I know there's a hotline you can call to find out your score for $8, but I dont want to spend the money if the score's only a day away.

Also, if I do score a 5, will just sending the score to MIT be sufficient to waive the FEE? I kinda wish the second FEE would be pushed back, until after everyone got their scores.

What do you suggest I do?

EDIT: Well I spent $8. I got a 5 in Lit, and 5s on the Phys C, which I am very happy about. I don't have to take the FEE anymore, right? What do I do if I already registered?

Sooo... apparently all the Lit tests from my school are missing! So although I was hoping for a 5, I currently have a nothing. :P
Guess I'll get to work on that FEE...

Haha I remember coming home from work one day and opening my score report to see double 5's on physics. I think I almost fainted out of shock. I have NO idea how I pulled that off. =P

5 on Literature (YAY!)
5 on Calc BC
4 on US Gov
4 on Physics B
3 on Comparative Gov
3 on Microeconomics

...better than I expected, since I didn't study at all. Calc and Lit were the only classes I took seriously. I had senioritis like crazy; by the end I was doing good just to sit through the tests.

Things that I actually get some credits for:
Calc BC
US History
Psychology
English Lit
English Lang

is there any way to find out your scores (via email or phone or other) w/o your AP number?
I'm on vacation until mid-august and I don't have my AP # (it's at home). Am I out of luck until then?

What's the site for credit transfers? I thought that we only got credit for math and science AP's, we couldn't use humanties APs to replace anything.
I am bamboozled.

Yeah, you can't replace any classes with 5's on humanities APs, but you can, as Hamster says, accumulate general elective credit.

This can be pretty helpful if you intend to go for a double major, since those general elective units count in the 270 units outside the GIRs required for a double major. They're not quite as useful if you only have one major, although they can be a nice insurance policy -- you have the freedom to drop a class or two if necessary without worrying about taking extra classes to make up for it later.

for MIT...if u took AP World History, AP US, and AP Euro...will you get 9 elective credits for EACH exam (= 27) or just 9 because they fall into the same subject area?
