AP Scores... will they hurt my application?

I just got my scores today...

4 on AP English language
4 on AP Chemistry
4 on AP BC Calc (5 as the Calc AB subscore)

If I'm looking to apply to schools such as Northwestern, UChicago, and WashU, will these scores hurt my chances?

Should I send some of these scores or none? : (

not at all. AP scores don’t matter for admissions. They are just for advanced credit. Only the grades you got during the course matter

I think your 4s are fine for your schools. Try to keep the GPA up, as well as SATIIs if the schools require them.

Scores of 4 are fine for those schools. I don’t think that they will help or hurt you.
But I also think that everything on the application is considered by the admissions committees. This would include AP scores. If they didn’t care why would they ask you to self-report them?

Why on Earth would you not report them?

If the college will award credit for a “4” then by all means report them. If they won’t, then it’s up to you.
