So I’m currently taking three ap classes (Ap Language and Composition, Ap Computer Science Principles, and Ap Environmental Science). I know for sure I am taking the Ap Environemental Science one, but I don’t know if i should take the Ap Lang or Ap Comp Scince. Mostly because Comp Science is boring as heck and it’s not in any of the roadmaps I’ve done research on (cal state schols). With Ap Language I passed first semester with an A but I don’t know if I could pass the exam, so I guess what I am asking is if I take the exams and not pass, will this effect my chances at getting into a state school? In a negative or positive way? Negative because I didn’t pass, but positive because they could see that I tried it and am not requesting credit for it. Idk…
Cal states do not consider AP scores in their admission decisions. AP Environmental Science will give you elective credit at the CSU’s with a score of 3 or higher. I would definitely take AP Lit since it would give you college credit for an English GE.
