I am a senior hoping for Columbia ED.
My classes are

AP English 4
AP Stats
AP Spanish 4
AP Physics
AP Psychology

I am considering about dropping AP Spanish because it's just too stressful and I already have 3 years of language. If I drop it, the only option I have is a regular Environmental science class.

Should I switch it to EnvSci? Would it influence my chance at getting into Columbia?

i would keep it cuz i heard most colleges like to see 4 years of language
is it just ap spanish that's stressful?
psych and stats should be a breeze

I actually had to skip Spanish 3 last year and took Spanish 4 instead because my schedule just didn't work out. So if i'm not taking AP SPA, there is no more spanish left for me... I really feel like dropping it, but it's the college's perception that's grabbing me....

If regular environmental science is TRULY your only other option, I'd just stick with AP spanish. BUT if you do decide to drop it, I don't think it would be that big a deal since you skipped Spanish 3, took Spanish 4, and technically have 4 years of Spanish under your belt already. But... regular env sci is just.. lame.. lol.
