4 years of a language, ap stats, or ap enviro

Scheduling for next year has begun for me (a lot later than for the rest of you I guess) and somehow I ended up having one less block over the next two years than I previously thought, and I can't really cut anything except either the 4th year of my language, AP statistics, or AP environmental science.

I think I would enjoy spanish 4 and ap stats about the same, but ap enviro seems the most interesting to me. However, I've been told that stats looks better than enviro and have been told both ways on the language deal- whether I really need 4 years or if 3 will be enough for top schools. Any more advice on what to cut?

If you take the fourth year of the language and if the college you choose has a language requirement, it may enhance your chances of testing out of the langauge requirement. Lots of ifs, but something to consider.

I would definitely not drop AP Enviro because it is such an interesting subject (not to mention simple). Personally, I would drop Stats, especially if you have taken or will be taking AP Calculus.

In my school, AP Stats is like the class for people that were too lazy/ didn’t have the grades for AP Calculus. 4 years of a language looks great, spanish is useful and colleges will like that you stuck with it. As for environmental science, it seems like you’re really interested in the subject. Statistics may be the best one to drop. However, it depends on what you want to major in and what other classes you will be taking/have taken.
