AP Spanish/French Literature Online?

I'm planning on taking AP Spanish and French Language later on in high school, and would love to take the AP literature level of one of them at least, but my new school does not offer this for either language. Would any of you happen to know of any websites where you can take AP French Literature or Spanish Literature online thru distance learning? I know UCCP offers Spanish lit, but are there any other websites?

Also, do you guys know of some good study materials for the National French and National Spanish Exams? How can I convince a teacher to pay the dues he/she has to so that we can participate in it?

Thanks for the input.

bump...............

I really need help!

UCCP is the only online institute that I know of that offers Spanish Lit. Apex Learning offers Spanish Language and their program is very organized and better prepares you for the AP Exam.

Thanks for responding.

Do you think UCCP would prepare me well enough for the AP exam in Spanish Literature to get a 5?

I'm honestly not sure. Spanish Literature is a tough course (I imagine), and from what I've seen of the online course, it's very flat and one-dimensional. Also, it's not structured around the AP Exam, like APEX's courses are. However, I'm sure if you're a very strong Spanish student and you used outside resources in addition to the class, you could score well.

I'll try and get you the link so you can view the UCCP demo of the course.

:)

Here's the first semester syllabus:

<a href="http://courses.uccp.org/bbcswebdav/courses/APSpLitI/PDFs/Course_Syllabus_Sem_I.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://courses.uccp.org/bbcswebdav/courses/APSpLitI/PDFs/Course_Syllabus_Sem_I.pdf</a></p>

Also, here are the grade weights...

Grading:

Class activities and quizzes including peer-editing: 30 %
4 Essays and 5 Mini-Essays: 25%
Completion of writing assignments: 5 %
Midterm: 20%
Final: 20%

Thanks so much, sac89, lol, you didn't have to go that deeply into my situation!

Unfortunately, the link to that first semester syllabus doesn't work (I have to input Passport information, which I don't have).

I should be able to find something on their website.

PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you the syllabus.
