edited for content…

No, I’m preparing for late testing from a comparatively bigger Indian city over 500 miles away coz there are no APs where I live. I asked as a general prep confusion. No idea about your tests ![]()
Anyways, thanks Heaven. I’m assuming that the variance increases in a population coz there’s low probably of an outlier in a sample. And a single outlier can dramatically alter the S.D.

I stand corrected.

I find it surprising that you guys remember what each question was on.

I took the test, and then just stopped thinking about it. And now I’m done with APs and super de-stressed. =)

Never taking another one again! yes!

…i have two more…english thursday and both econs on next thursday…Yikes.

I still have four more. Calculus BC tomorrow, English on Thursday, Biology on Monday, and Macroeconomics on the 20th.

I finished the MC with 45 minutes to kill and slept.

Finished the FR with 20 minutes to spare…

so easy…

does anyone have the 2006 ap stats multiple choice exam??!!

i still have a final in that class and would appreciate the answers or the test!!

Whats the approx. max score possible with only a scientific calculator?
fx-82 MS to be precise.

Just to make sure, we didn’t have to write anything in back of the multiple choice booklet right? We only wrote the first letters of our name on the free response booklet but no writing on the back of the multiple choice booklet right?

What I mean to ask is whether it is absolutely necessary to have a look at graphs and stuff or a calculator with the ability to compute standard deviation, mean, sumation, regression etc. can scrape through if coupled with good skills? There are no graphical calcs available within a 500km radius. And getting them shipped etc. would be really cumbersome.

It just takes u longer to solve the problems without a graphing calculator. A graphing calc can also help check ur answer if u work it out by hand. But if u are good at stats, i guess a normal calc will do.

I just started self-studying stats from Mc-Graw Hill this morning(India). On page 114 now. Will know how good I am at stats as time progresses, though I am pretty strong in maths, comp, science or logic based subjects. I’ve been ok with eveything uptil now, but the residual seems to be a lil troublesome
Dunno what other probs I’ll encounter…
In any case, we don’t need 100% right? Something around 75% should do?

can someone pm me 34 and 9 too?

hey everyone.

I DEFINITELY know how to do 9 (if im thinking of the correct problem); the answer was 100% on there.

It’s not too difficult of a concept and only took like 20 seconds, the only thing that made it hard was the form collegeboard put the answers in, that might have been tricky to notice.

pm me for any other questions

Hey can somebody PM me 9 and 34?

To whoever is asking, taking Stats without a graphing calculator is nearly impossible. I’m pretty sure there are things which are impossible to come up with without a graphing calculator such as correlation coefficient, expected values of a matrix, degrees of freedom in two sample T distributions, binomial distributions, goodness of fit tests and a bunch of other stuff…

Even if they are possible, it will take you considerably longer and you will most likely not finish in time.

could someone pm me 9 and 34??!!!

Yeah if someone could PM me 9 and 34 that’d be awesome.

um, yeah, i’m pretty sure all of the them were doable. at least I did all of them, and got an answer. so 9 and 34 were not mistakes (i can’t quite remember what they were), but trust me. you could do it.
