AP Stats or AP Macro & Micro

<p>I have a choice between the two for my senior year. The thing is, if I don't take stats, then I wont have a math class my senior year. My dream schools: Ivy Leagues/Duke/Stanford. </p>

<p>Which one should I take? I am assuming A's in both courses. Also, does Econ count as a math class? Do top colleges look down upon not taking a math class senior year? I have taken geo, alg II, pre-cal, and CALC BC. Thanks!</p>

<p>Econ is social science, not a math class. If you have completed Calc-BC, you have 5 years of traditional math which is plenty for any college. The next in sequence would be multi-variate calc, perhaps at a local college if your HS does not offer it. But, take Stats since it is much more useful. (And, I’m not a big fan of HS econ.)</p>
