How often do you study when you self study a subject?!

Well, this is coming from a self-studier that totally failed at time management :

Up until the two weeks before the APs began, I barely had 1 Unit of AP Env. Science done and from then on I spent aout 3-4 hours each night taking notes+ studying for it so overall: 14x4= 56

I read from somone else’s post that reading an hour from a study guide each day (esp. for those w/ long bus rides) will allow you to be pretty solid in the subject, this is probably your better approach and using this strategy, by the time of APs (if you start early) you will accumulate about the same amount of hours as you would in an actual class

of course dedicate extra time when AP Tests come around…

Thank you for your answer!i am going to study(human geography or computer science A) for an hour or two very day since the beginning of the year!do you think it’s going to be enough to have 5!

Some other answers?

buy any book that reviews ap human geography

read said book

collect your hard earned (lol) 5 in july

brag on CC

Depends on the subject. If it’s a soft subject such as history/geography/psychology, then all you do is study as much as needed for you to memorize it. But if its a science, then it’s considerably harder, as you have to master the concepts and know what happens in the laboratory without actually doing the lab.
