Does this sound like a good plan? I’m tending to study one hour each of US History, Government and Geography. You think this is good?

Seems like overkill, to be quite honest with you. You could probably start that plan in March and finish the material by the AP exam

Yah tell me about it; I felt really tired this weekend and didn’t have time to study nothing else… :P

Maybe I’ll just do 30 minutes a day so I can have a life I guess.

If you’re studying every day, I don’t think you need to do more than 10-15 minutes; more than that would be more time than you need to devote to it, time that could be spent on academics or just having a life. The hour a day thing would be reasonable for the weeks before the tests, though it still sounds like overkill to me if you’re studying long term.

It’s your decision. If you want to study an hour a day and you’re up to the challenge, I don’t see why not. It’s better to study some now than cramming for it later and being overwhelmed. That said, know your own limits. Don’t force yourself to do too much at once.

As someone who has self-studied for 5 AP Exams (and received 5s on all of them), I’d recommend breaking it down by exam. Start studying now (or in the near future) for the US History exam for 2 hours every weekend. Then a month before the test add a little bit of Gov, and then two weeks before the test add the Human Geo. Not all tests are created equal.

P.S. I’m assuming you’re self-studying…from your O.P. I couldn’t tell. If you have a class for these tests, pretty much just rely on that until the weeks before the AP exam - those are all pretty easy exams.

I assume that most of the self studying is reading at this point, so my suggestion to you would be to just do it in chunks. If you are someone who procrastinates, this could make you put it off, but just force yourself to be through a certain amount of material by a certain date.

Since I had an advisor at school who sort of helped me self study for AP Comp Gov, I was generally forced to get through the material by a certain date. I’m generally someone that doesn’t procrastinate, so I never had issues with putting off reading until the last minute.

30 min a day n u’ll b fine

An hour a day makes the 4 go away.

Instead of focusing on studying for a certain amount of time each night focus on covering content. For my past APs I always tried to study 3 chapters every week. This basically meant 30 minutes each night. An hour seems excessive this early.
