AP Test scores- do they matter?

<p>How much do they really matter? I mean if they are self-reported by students, do they really have that much weight? </p>

<p>I got a 4 on the AP Chem test and I remember my college counselor said it "looked good" on apps. TEst was hard as hell and I really hope it helps. I'm would really love to go to UC Berkeley btw if that matters.</p>
