AP Tests?

So I'm for sure taking these four AP tests this year - Physics B, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and US Government and Politics. However, I also am thinking about self-studying for Comparative Government and Politics, but I'm unsure of whether or not I will take it yet.

My question, though, is whether or not it will matter which tests I say I will take on my application as they obviously won't even see the scores for them while making an admissions decision. As well, this might be especially important )if AP tests matter at all) since I have taken no AP tests that I'm willing to report as of yet in my high school career.

Could someone please answer this ASAP as I would like to submit my application soon.

Thanks :)

please…I would really like to submit soon.

You do not need to be concerned about AP tests with regard to your application, as this information has no real impact on admissions decisions. The stress students direct towards deciding on reporting of AP scores on applications truly isn’t warranted.

However, you may want to think ahead to schools’ policies re: granting credit for AP exams should you be admitted and attend. For UofC, a 4 or 5 on each test would make you eligible for 3 quarters elective credit for US and Comp. Govt. and Politics (no credit if you only have taken one of these courses), 2 quarters elective credit for Micro and Macro (again, no credit for one course without the other), and 2 quarters of physical science credit for Physics B (which you would have to forgo, though, if you then took physics).
