***AP U.S. HISTORY 2015***

I’m using crash course, princeton review, and amsco

I am going to take practice test tonight and review tomorrow. I just finished reading an old five steps to a five and watching JoczProductions final exam videos. Also doing quizlet of all the terms in the back of the 5 steps to a five book. If anyone wants the quizlet here it is; https://quizlet.com/_1a60ud

I meant that since it is their country, they probably know more without taking an apush course. Do you live in Europe?

amsco 2015 offers a great practice for MCQ and short responses, and you can find the whole answer key book online

My teacher gave the amsco 2015 practice exam and I thought it was too easy; I only did the multiple choice and got 40/55, timed and everything. I then looked at the short answers and would’ve been able to answer every one of them. I also looked at the long response and would’ve been able to write a fire essay comparing the motives of the war of 1812 and the spanish-american war. Lastly, I took a look at the DBQ and thought it was a joke, even though I didn’t look at the documents, only the prompt.

I havent learned anything all year, my teacher sucks. I read 6.5/9 of the Barrons and stopped because I think I’m good with the progressive movement and on. I started the crash course today (after I took the practice exam) and I think i can finish it by tonight, it’s really short.

Tomorrow I’m going to look at the released Collegeboard practice exam and stuff like that. I think the long essay will be the hardest section, so hopefully we get doable topics.

I’m about to take the Crash Course practice test… I’ll do the released CollegeBoard one tomorrow.

does anybody know what the usual threshold is for each score? i know the exam changed, just wondering what i should be targeting.

also, how difficult are people finding the princeton review mc?

better ways to review than joczproductions?

@hsalem32 take practice tests, watch Adam Norris

Does anyone have the DBQ/long essay/short answer rubrics?

Are there answers to the released practice test?

@jamanda I’m wondering too… I was about to take the MC from that, but I guess I should make sure there’s answers first… Does anyone know?

Probably, but unless they are on the CB website, they can’t be posted here.

Is the amsco 2015 book online? or just the answer key

The Kaplan 2015 book is absolutely terrible. The answer explanations aren’t even explanations (there are explanations with literally just the correct answer, written in sentence form, with no other detail), and the book doesn’t even mention the “themes” of the course.

long essay/dbq topic predictions?

For the frq: Changes/continuity in us foreign policy or changes/continuity in power of the federal government
the other question will be some culture garbage I’m not going to write about

@asappebble - Probably something to do with the national identities or expansions of nations around the 1800s - 1900s. Just a predicition though.

I hope it’s not on reform movements

if it’s causes of the civil war i would be in heaven. i really just want it to be something i am comfortable writing on and have a decent amount of knowledge in
