we are two weeks behind schedule
For all of you guys look for a prep book I read through the entire Barron’s one not doing the practice tests and got a 4 last year. I’ve also hear crash course is nice for general ideas.
Fun class but all we’ve done is debate.
Do you guys think the Ethel Wood is comprehensive enough to learn off of?
I’m taking it as a freshman and have an A in the class, but I don’t have a great prep book. (I do have a textbook and a mediocre prep book) should I get a more reputable one or do you guys think I’m good?
@bachbend nahh.
Is current events a big part of the test? Like the election this year, are details for that going to be on the test
@dango98 No
Guys I wanted to know if anyone knows if the Barrons flashcards are worth it? My government teacher keeps nagging us about buying them however, those 12-15$ make a difference in family. I really do not want to bother my parents in buying something that is unnecessary.
@elephantayee In my opinion, from what I’ve heard, it’s not necessary (even though from amazon people like it) if you’re crunched for cash.
Your money would be better invested in something like Crash Course, which is about the same price (and if you want to PM me I can give you one for a MUCH cheaper expense). Or another prep book I think. But maybe you should wait out on a few more opinions?
Hey I am currently studying for the AP Gov exam by doing released college board multiple choice questions. However, I am having trouble locating the 2005 multiple choice and was wondering if anyone knows where I can find it?
Who’s ready for this exam?
I know I’m not…
Haven’t studied.
@elephantayee Did you buy a prep book?
Yeah, I just haven’t cracked it open yet. @Filthy_Frank
Yeah my teacher has only covered just a bit more than 1/2 the curriculum (smh), I’m halfway through my prep book though (but with my 4 other exams it’s hard to make time). Well, at least I’m done with chem…4 more to go…
@zenith99 How was chem?
@Filthy_Frank It wasn’t terrible fortunately, so not the worst start to my run of APs these next two weeks Thanks for asking
What review book would y’all recommend this year? I have the Princeton Review already, but I would like to cross-analyze with another review book. Barron’s or 5 Steps?
Dude the 5 steps to a 5 is surprisingly the best book by far
