What do you think they'll count off for a mistake like that?

Can't believe I talked about the Taft - Hartley Act for Progressivism

Oh well, still had the right idea for labor and only 2 sentences...

1947, not 1924 =(

Thank God, glad the test is over
The MC wasn't was hard as I expected. I wrote essay 2 and 4. haha, i B.S. some of the information. Do you that will lower my reputation on the essay?

Maybe as long as you "tied in" info from the wrong period, they won't deduct too much??

At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Wow, I'm shocked by the amount of information given out here...

Anyways, I did do #2 and #4 also. :) So yay for the people who took the road less traveled!

I messed up on the MC by not keeping track of the time. There were a good number I ended up leaving blank. But, hopefully it's enough to get a 5 still...when the prompter came, I was scared to turn in my test! But I guess there isn't anything we can do now...at least, until July.

crosses fingers and toes

MC could've been worse. I don't think I was so sure on 20 or so, wavering between one or two answers heh.

DBQ was okay. I cited, rambled, cited, rambled.
The Essay #3....I just mentioned a whole bunch of facts relevant to the topic without really answering the question. Ehh.
The Essay #4....I was kicking myself I couldn't remember much. Only the Manns-Elkins Act and the ICC. Damn it.

Anyway. Its over now, thank god.

What is it called when companies take care of their workers better through giving them paid vacation, reasonable wages, so they don't join unions(?) and are more loyal.

It is slipping my mind! I forgot what it is called! I wrote about it on my essay but I forgot! It is killing me!

I think it is something-Welfare.

i thought the mc was very difficult...i felt they were ambiguous and there were a lot where i eliminated all but two, and i could see arguments for either one...oh well

i thought the dbq was retarded, there didnt seem like there was a lot of diff. material in the documents, and i had a difficult time bringing in outside info...nevertheless i am pretty confident with the final outcome.

as for the frq, i think a rocked both of them (3/4), i could think of so much stuff for 4, lots of specifics. as for 3, i also could think of tons of specifics (even though it started out rough, i actually skipped it and did 4 first)

i really hope my essays make up for the mc, i only skipped like 2 because i could eliminate a lot of choices, so i thought guessing woudl be to my advantage...sucks that we dont get scores till july, i wont care anymore!

insert sentence here (Doc B).__________

I know that you are not supposed to say "In document B...."
You misunderstood me.

Man I'm screwed....this years curve is going to be harsh

and there is not supposed to be direct quoting either.
<3
Documents jsut add to the support of the paper. They are made to be heavily relied upon.

*are just added
*are not

I thout the exam was easy as well. At least better than what I thought it would be like. MC, I know I probably missed like 5 to 10, but I felt like I got most of them. The random stuff that came up, I somehow ended up remebering all the things on there. Anyway, the dbq... that was in sane at the first glance but I started remebering stuff and then onward, I felt I owned it. FR was a little bit harder.. I did 3 and 4 and I think I did bad on 3. It was too general... but other than that, I thought the exam went really well. But now I feel less confident because... it seems like everyone felt that way. does that mean the curve will be small? That makes me nervous.
Anyway, we don't have to deal with it until July, so we might just forget about it til then. Godd luck guys!

MC was as good as it could have gotten in a class that didn't get through the Cold War. Luckily, we there were maybe 3 questions that dealt wiht that period but it reflects how well we touched on everything else...

I chose essays 3 and 4. Totally bombed essay 3 because I had no outside knowledge but it probably wouldn't have been much better had I choosen the other one. Did pretty well on 4 but the DBQ prompt was just an inexorable bugger. They pretty much told you what you HAD to write about instead of letting you present your own interpretation.

The ridiculous sexist essay was killer.

Okay, FRQ #5 is oficially driving me crazy. There has get to be a penalty for chronology error. Is a 5 on this Free Response to high to hope?

If it is a small error they wont do anythign about it. If it is a big error, and the only big error on your paper, then it won't hurt much, they will disregard it for the most part as long as the rest of your paper makes sense.

hooray for the people who did 2 and 4! unlike all those conformists and their number 3 hehe.

i wouldnt worry too much about going outside the parameters, i highly doubt they even read your frqs with much detail

the dbq wasnt that bad considering my english teacher loves lecturing about that kind of stuff...i managed 4 pages on that, 3 pages on the first frq (#3), and 4 pages on the second frq (#5)...there were a few mc questions i had trouble on, but other than that it was okay

i have to admit the dbq topic was kinda dumb though...i pulled outside information from the most random places...up in the air topic in my opinion

What was the Southwestern economy like?
