I also chose 2 and 4...
What is the most you can get on either of the FRQ if you didn't bring in an impressive amount of specific factual information?

does 3 pages for the dbq and 1.5 pages for both the frq sounds like a reasonable length

I chose 2 and 5... Only one?!

I did 4.5 for my DBQ, 3.5/3 for my FRQ's. Depends how much BS, if you got to the point it shoudl be fine.

Mine were 3 and 5. I had no idea about the SW Spanish...

MC was iffy, i omitted one, got like 6ish wrong. Probably. The DBQ was ok, i wrote 2.5 pages, but I write small and I have lots of carrots and cross-outs. I picked #3 and #4, 1.5 pages for each.

Is the SAT II easier of harder than the AP MC?

harder

did a practice SAT II - omitted 3 out of 90, missed 24 --> scaled score of 660.

What is the most you can get on either of the FRQ if you didn't bring in an impressive amount of specific factual information?

on the frqs, they all said to pick two subjects and discuss them. does this mean it was okay to only have two body paragraphs?

Thats what I did for them. I'm just worried I didn't have enough details in mine.

I also chose 2 and 4, mainly b/c i couldn't recall enough facts about the others....my mind was dead after that DBQ, which was unusual to me(we have never one in class)

Still scared to death about FRQ #5. Most of my info was from the 60s, but this mistake seems to be relatively widespread.

Does anybody know the grading curve for APUSH?
Like...how many you can miss on MC and the corresponding requirement for FR to get a 5, 4, 3 and so on. Please Post, Thanks.

~115/180 = 5, ~95= 4 and ~80= 3. MC and essays each 50% of grade.

i felt rather confident about #5 until I saw "1950s"...therefore stayed with # 4.

dumb proctor didn't give us a heads up about the time so when she called for us to hand MC's in, i had like 15-20 blank and basically just filled the most i could.

i also picked 3&5 for FR. 5 was a killer, i was praying that everytime i looked at it, it would somehow magically change to the 1960's.

i think i did alright on the DBQ.

best i can pray for is a dumb 4.

regarding FRQ #5:

The question didn't specifically limit you to 1950s. I started off giving 1950s example and wrote how all these were related/resulted the events of the 60s.

Or does it? The prompt question didn't specify the time periods...

"~115/180 = 5, ~95= 4 and ~80= 3. MC and essays each 50% of grade."

Curve might be a little harsher this year, since is seemed to be so easier for a lot people on CC, heres hoping this is not the case around the US

so i was surfing the web and saw this funny cartoon (wink), what do you think it means?

to mun: essay question #5 said to compare and contrast those two things during the 1950s... which makes me think they were limiting you to the 1950s... thats why i picked essay #4 :)

to dude who posted the cartoon, i think it means that wilson was trying to garner public support for the treaty of versailles or something ...
