AP US History Scoring?

Okay, when I first introduced myself to the test, I thought the scoring system would be unforgivable in that 60% multiple choices is a 2. I just want to see if that holds up.

Today, I took the 1988 practice AP multiple choice. Out of 100 questions, I got 75 out of 100, and since today’s exam is now 80 questions, I’d say that I’d get about 55 questions right (just to be harsh). Now, assume that on the three essays I get 5 out of 9 (because that’s probably how it stands right now, without intense study sessions.)

How does this rate out of 5? 4dog says that this is a 4, but I really, really doubt this considering how few people in my school (which is quite competitive) get 5s. I’m thinking a 3?

You need 67% of the raw points to get a 5.

You have just made my day. :)
