I’m currently a sophomore and I was thinking of which courses to take next year.
I went to a high school in a different state for my freshman year, and the curriculum was different, resulting in me taking US history freshman year. At my current school, juniors usually take either AP US history or US History.
So my question is, since I took regular US history (not honors or AP) freshman year, should I take AP US history junior year or AP European history? I did pretty well in US history last year and I suppose if I take AP US it’ll be a pretty easy grade, but I’m worried that if I took AP US after regular US, it’ll look bad for college since I technically took the same course twice. Which would look better on a college application?
Personally I like euro better, I think it’s a lot more interesting
I think it could look good either way, but it might look better if you took euro
@collegebound1516 Thanks for your reply! I’m interested in (and good at) history so I’m ok with either one, I’m considering Euro too.
