AP Where are you at??

I'm in a Psychology class in college. It's like an AP class in that we do a chapter every class or two. It's not like an AP class in that the tests are cake. We're doing the last segment of the class right now - Mental disorders and Therapy. Semester ends December 12.

Whoever said it... I also read the Crucible really young, too. I read it in 7th grade for some grade school to grade school nerd competition called the Octathalon. It was 8 long tests in English, Literature (entire test was on Crucible), Math, Science, History, Geography, Music and Art.

Here's where my 3 AP classes are at

AP Biology: Just getting started into Genetics, test today on the "Mendel and Gene Idea" chapter in the Campbell's book. Tomorrow, we are doing lab #4 (photosynthesis), and we've already done 1, 2, 3, and 5. Doing retty good time/speed wise.

AP English Lit: We've been just reading novels, in chronological history, teacher leads us into each new era or category (also done myths/allusions, huge unit on those). So far we've read (for the class specifically): Beowulf, Grendel, Paradise Lost (didn't read actually, was suppose to, lol), the Bible (IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL! This ****ed me off, she claimed that we can read it cause it's "literature"), Canterbury Tales, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Lord of the Flies. Then, on top of those, we have to read a book a month for her list and write a report, from those I've read: Frankenstein, Death of a Salesman, starting the Fountainhead. Overall, LOTS of reading, but no real mention of the AP test, so hope it comes around.

AP Calc BC: Just finished up Euler's method (and the improved version) along with the relative growth, population, etc. models (separation of equation type stuff). This class is easy for me, should be an easy 5, especially with a 5 on the AB test last year.

Omg, The Bible~!!??

Ap English - just finished renaissance, read lots of shakespeare including macbeth and merchant of venice plus sonnets, now we are doing 17th century crap. AKA john donne and others.

AP Physics B - fluids heat and temperature test tomorrow

AP Calculus BC - integral applications test tomorrow. joy.

Actually, the Bible is a really important part of the development of western civilization. About 1/4 to 1/3 of all people believe in it. You don't have to believe anything, but understanding the Bible is crucial to being a well-educated person. Public schools that don't allow the Bible to be taught (as literature or a shaping force in history) are leaving a hole in their students' educations.

English - have read Invisible Man, Heart of Darkness, Oedipus Rex, and some poetry

Calculus BC - near the end of infinite series (Taylor and Maclaurin) and how they converge/diverge. However, everyone in the class took AB last year.

Physics C (both parts) - all done, although we went uber-fast through most of it. It's just 2 of us working together w/o a teacher. We both took Phyiscs B last year, so we decided just to plow through it all, and now we have a lot of time to review the hard stuff.

Chemistry - have done bonding, polarity, magnetic spin, stoichiometry, enthalpy

Computer Science (don't know which, yet) - have done basics, logic, methods, defining classes, and GUI

German - have read two obscure plays, listened to stories on tapes, and worked in a grammar book
