AP World History Essay topics predictions? (What d'ya teachers said?)

Hey hey peeeps :)

Im wondering if your teachers mentioned anything about some essays topics predictions or which time period/themes/topics to focus on this year?
Or your own predictions, analysis.

Do post it up!

My teacher says she’s pretty sure there WON’T be one on Africa since they’ve had it on the exam a lot in recent years, and she doesn’t think there will be one on trade routes since the last three years have had 2 essays on trade routes. She said she thinks there will be a question on Latin America (possible DBQ or comp/contrast independence movements), ccot anti-semitism, something along those lines. Possibly a question on women (maybe female political leaders?)

I’m interested

Bump!

Great analysis. I’ve noticed Africa in a lot of our class ones, since my teacher uses past FRQs.

Anti-Semitism seems like an interesting CCOT essay. Do you think that the general dislike towards Israel still found in Palestine is an acceptable continuity?

My god I hope there isn’t anything about pre-colonial Africa. Probably going to see some rehashed crap about india and maybe industrialization though. DBQ doesnt matter as its more of a writing test than anything.

I’d be very surprised if there was an essay on Africa, for the reasons I said above. And to OrangeD00D-the general dislike towards Israel still found in Palestine is definitely an acceptable continuity.

Ok it’s definitely not on griots Han or
roman empire cause they had that last year. There won’t be anything on Latin America or African culture. I took the world exam last year  I think it can be on trade routes cause they tend to Test those a lot

Good luck!!!

African Trade Routes= Owned me last year.
