AP World History Question

I’ve already started reading “Guns, Germs, and Steel” for AP World History and I have to outline it. To anyone who has taken the course, if there are so many details that seem important, which ones would you write down? I always find myself writing down too many details because I don’t know if he’s going to ask for them on the test.By the way, this can be any book in general, not just this one.

Ah yes, Guns, Germs, and Steel. I ended up just skimming through it because Diamond basically kept repeating the same ideas over and over. Anyway, the trick is to write down main summaries, not all the details. AP World is very theme-oriented and you don’t have to know details and exact dates. Stick to main ideas and themes.
