apartment for freshman

hi.

i'm a freshman currently in my first semester of the year.
I already have a place that i can move into (an apartment) but the rps says that freshman have to live on resisdential hall for a full year.

i really wish to move out of my dorm.
is there any way to do that without being charged with penalities?

Go to your center desk and ask for a request to withdraw form. BE VERY CLEAR that it is only for housing. If the RA or desk worker doesn’t know what you mean, ask with the secretary and desk supervisor. There may still be fees, but I believe they are considerably less.

I have a few friends who moved out second semester. You should be fine.

i went to the frontdesk to ask for the withdraw form and they said that I should be able to get it this coming monday.
They didnt specify anything about the penalty and other problems that I am most concerned about yet.

ElizaB, do you know if your friends were charged with penalties?
