How difficult is it to get a decent/close to campus apt at this stage? I have to sign the contract tomorrow if I want to take a place that's pretty decent, ~700 total for a 2 bedroom that I'll be sharing if I include all utilities I would have to pay additionally for, right at the end of frat row (dwight/piedmont...when it turns to warring).

Should I take it? Can I get nice, cheaper places in northside? Most of my classes will be pimentel/cheit/evans/lewis/etcheverry/soda etc...but my only 8am is at dwinelle -___- and if I don't get the discussion I want I'll have another 8am at wheeler or barrows

“Can I get nice, cheaper places in northside?”

Impossible…

haha that’s what I thought xD Only things that seems possible were the big house things…but I don’t have enough people. Can I assume at this point the same applies to things in southside?..is this really as far as I’m thinking it is? (I’ve only walked up there twice)

Because of the density of buildings, it is farther on northside. People definitely won’t be coming to your apartment to party / hang out / etc.

The places on northside are generally nicer, and $700/mo for a shared 2bd apartment sounds about right.

If there’s a distance issue, you can always get yourself a bike; you’ll heavily prefer one anyways if you live too far south anyways.

Alright, seems like this is a pretty good deal?..or are you saying I could get the same price in northside?

I’m considering a bike, but it’s on the third floor, and I can’t put it anywhere outside. If it’s cheap and light I may go with it. Thanks!
