Hello Everyone!

Does anyone know of any decent apartments in or around U-District?
My potential roommate bailed on me last minute so I'm looking for a studio or a 1Br.
My max is around $900, including utilities.
I've looked at Brooklyn, Wellsley, Stanford, DD Culp, and Malloy.

Have you tried Clifton and College Place? They’re both on 11th Ave and NE 41st St. They’re not all that clean or new, but the price is very reasonable considering the unit size and location (around $700-850 for studio/one bedroom, 400-600 square feet; W/S/G included).

There’s also an apartment within your price range near 12th Ave and NE 42nd St (it’s a white, 3-4 floor apartment).

If you’re not satisfied with any, I’d consider mini-studios with shared kitchen (ex. Acacia Court). They’re a few hundred dollars cheaper but they are nearly half the size of normal studios (you basically get a bathroom, small fridge, microwave, small closet, and room for a bed).

There’s also one on 10th or 11th Ave and NE 47th St (colorful building; there’s a chiropractic or something like that in that complex)—my friend lived there and his room was larger than most places with shared kitchens. There’s also a bus stop right by the apartment that goes straight to UW.

I am not completely sure about the current rent range (since they tend to fluctuate a lot), but those are among the cheapest apartments I know that are within walking distance of UW.
