<p>Our APEH class hasn't done too many DBQs. I have a lot of questions, but when grouping the documents together, do you explain why you grouped them? Also a DBQ is basically an FRQ that you back up using documents? What are the easiest ways to express p.o.v?</p>
<p>I’ve gotten 9’s on dbq’s from my teacher who is an ap reader. And no, a DBQ is very very different from a free response. In a DBQ, literally every single sentence except those in your intro and conclusion and maybe one or two in the body should be cited by a document. The best ways to express point of view is to talk about a document in the context you want but then say something like "However, this document may be biased/unreliable/etc because…</p>
