APHUG (more interesting) or AP Gov (more rigorous) for junior year?

I know I’ve already asked some questions regarding my schedule for next year, but I’ve narrowed it down to something more specific. Even though I don’t have to choose yet, requesting to take an online class is a long process, so I’d like to figure out things out in advance.

As a junior, I’m allowed to take 2 APs. I already plan on taking APUSH, but I don’t know what my second one should be. For junior year, my school offers APUSH, AP Gov, AP CS, AP Physics, AP Chem, and AP Econ (things like AP English, AP Calc, AP Psych, etc aren’t offered until senior year). However, since my school doesn’t offer AP Human Geo at all, I have the option to take it online.

For more context, my classes this year are:
Honors English
Honors World History II
Honors Chinese
Honors Drawing II (half-year elective)/ Wellness + Gym (half-year requirement)
Accelerated Algebra II
Honors Chem

And my junior schedule would look like this:
Honors English
APUSH
Honors Chinese
Accelerated Pre-Calc
Honors Bio
APHUG or AP Gov

TL;DR: Should I take APHUG, which is generally considered an easy AP and would have to be done online, or should I take AP Gov, which I’m less interested in but is still more rigorous? I’m worried that taking an easier AP will reflect negatively on me in the future (since these will be the only 2 APs completed by the time I apply to college).

I would take AP Gov.

I say that because AP HUGE is a fluff AP offered to freshmen in our HS who didn’t have the test scores or pre qualifications necessary to take the only other two AP classes offered to freshmen. Every school is different, though.

AP Gov is a half year class in our HS, but it is only offered to seniors. It is usually paired with econ.

You should graduate with some sort of civics/government class, so I recommend AP Gov. Plus, even though it seems like an okay idea to do APHUG on the computer and it’s seen as “easy,” it’s a lot more stressful to do a class online over having a teacher.
