I applied Nov 17 and was completed Nov. 24. Anyone hear anything who
applied at this time? Darn those holidays!! :-)

i applied nov 17 and was completed 23rd, and i called admissions yesterday and the lady said my app was JUST processed (im thinkin they JUST recently looked over it)...so hopefully our apps have gotten looked at, just wait a while now for the decision in the mail? i am thinking it cant be THAT long if theyve already read it

Yeah I applied Nov 29 and was notified of completion Dec 6 so I'm hoping to hear in late January or early February...

im in the same boat..applied nov 25th completer dec 3rd....late january sounds reasonable but i doubt it cause they said 10-14 weeks for LSA (whoah)!!

i first called and they said 8-10 weeks, then the next time i called it was 10-12 weeks, and then an even later time i called (im obsessive lol) it was 12-15 weeks...seems a bit much, since the people who applied early nov got it in like 1 month...but im guessin mid jan

Applied nov. 15, completed on the 23rd. I am guessing early to mid january.

I applied November 15, completed on the 23rd. I just tried to call the admissions office to see when I would hear back, but I got a voice recording saying that they were gone. I thought I would hear back by now!

p.s. My cousins live in Overland Park!

hey people, so i guess all of us who applied 15-17th and completed 23-24th are all still waiting and its probably not comin for 2 weeks, but for reference, if any of you DO get the decision, post it so we all know when the rest are comin! thanks

i applied oct 28, completed nov 18th (crazy, right?) and have not heard yet

My friend applied November 14 and just got his decision last week.

was he out of state?

what do you mean by completed? as in, all of your recs and tests scores and other supplemental got there?

Yup. They send an e-mail stating that they have everything and that it's beginning to be processed when it's completed. That's where we get the 2nd date.

My son received a second email saying that they had received his application and started to process it (about a week after the first email saying the application was received). The second email did not say the application was complete - and he never received an email saying this. In fact his application was not complete for a long time after the second email because the teacher rec was not there (although he thought it was). I think the only way to know if your application is complete is to call the admissions office - my son found the first time he called, the person answering the phone would/could not tell him what was there or not; the next time he called (several weeks later) the person answering the phone was very helpful and was able to tell him that everything (at long last) was there.

Very confusing! In the meantime my son got into his ED school, so he ended up withdrawing his Michigan app without ever hearing.

Oh, oops. I guess I'm wrong. That's strange, jrpar. Michigan's supposed to send you a letter if they don't have everything.

Yes, one of my son's friends did get a letter or email (can't remember which) from Michigan saying something was missing. My son probably would have gotten this letter eventually if the rec hadn't finally shown up when it did. It just seems like there is a long lag built into the process. And since it does seem important to be complete as early as possible in the process, my advice would be to call and make sure your application is complete.

Applied Nov 21st, Completed Dec 3rd...no word as of yet.

yeah, applied Nov 15, and still no word for me.

I applied oct. 29 or something, got a letter from them on nov 17 saying that they have started the reviewing process.
Today I called them to make sure if they got anything, they did and said that I should expect a decision 12 weeks from when I applied. Thats a long time ^^

But since 2 months already passed, I guess it should be coming end of this month.

i'm sure it will....i submitted mine on 10/31.....heard back from them like middle november...got accepted at the end of december so it wasn't really that long...
