I’m doing the app by paper and for the page of lines that they give you to talk about ECs sports etc. I was wondering whether I could just attach a chart (arranged in standard common app format) that would fit what they say and then just write “See attached” on the lines.
Would that be bad?

I am wondering the same thing. I am planning on sending in an activity sheet anyways so could I simply write "See attached activity sheets" in that space?

yeah, that's totally fine. better have it look neat and presentable rather than squishing it all on that page they give you.

Bump... Thank you jenz129; since the admissions office is closed for the holidays, can anyone else confirm that for Part 3 of the Application, where applicants are given a page to write about extracurricular activites, etc, one can use a Common App chart format instead? I really can't think of how I could write out my chart into lines with any organization, but the website says "It is worth the time invested to write complete and thoughtful responses to the questions on this form. This is especially valid for questions pertaining to activities, awards, achievements, and interests."
Thanks

i made my chart in excel, wrote "see attached" on the part 3, and then submitted an essay on my top e/c. (accepted ED)

awesome; Thanks :-)

If you have access to a scanner and Acrobat Professional, you can scan Form 3 directly into Acrobat, create text fields similar to excel cells and, use Brown's Form 3 without attachment. Or, you can do what wudanyan suggested.
