Appeal

I got rejected from SDSU today, but I still want to attend the school if my other colleges don’t work out. I saw that there is an option that I could appeal my admission, meaning I would have to send in a letter stating why I want a re-evaluation, test scores, transcripts, and second semester course load. Are the chances low, medium, or high that I would be accepted?

My reasoning is that my father had a stoke a few years ago and my mom is the only one providing the income.

If you think that your Dad’s health adversely affected your grades then it is worth a try. Having a single parent income would not be a compelling reason since Cal States are need blind, meaning they do not take your financial information into consideration for admissions.
